Texas Chili
"I always use the recipe my mother taught me. I was the youngest and always ended up cooking with my mom. She passed 2 years ago and I have all her favorite recipes.
1 lb of premium ground beef
1 15 oz can of ranch style beans
1 6 oz can of tomato paste
1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
¼ finely chopped onion
1 oz chili power
1 teaspoon of Cayanne pepper
Brown ground beef, drain excess fat, fold in all ingredients and cook on medium heat until light boil, then lower heat and stir occasionally for 30"

Directions
Brown ground beef, drain excess fat, fold in all ingredients and cook on medium heat until light boil, then lower heat and stir occasionally for 30 minutes. Top with shredded cheese and sour cream if desired. Serve over rice with crackers.
