Mom Moms Fajita Chili

"I always enjoy cooking for my 3 grandsons ages 15,12 ,8. This is a turkey chili they will all eat and ask for more. We make our own tortilla bowls, add the chili goodness and top it with Mexican cheese. Served with a side salad and a glass of wine for the adults."

Extra virgin olive oil
Smoked paprika
Ground cumin
Dry onion powder
Dry oregano flakes
Dry Italian seasoning
Black pepper
Garlic clove diced
Can diced Italian tomato
Can rinsed black beans
Can rinsed white northern beans
Chopped white onion
Chopped red onion
Worcestershire sauce
Sliced Green pepper
Red pepper flakes optional
Prepared marinara sauce
Mexican cheese optional
Tortilla optional


5 quart pan sauté until browned 

1 lb lean ground turkey

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

add dry spices

1 teaspoon Smoked paprika

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon dry oregano

1 teaspoon dry italian seasoning


1 cup chopped white onion

1 cup chopped red onion

3 chopped cloves garlic

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


1/2 teaspoon dry corriander

1/2 teaspoon dry cinnamom

1 teaspoon dry onion powder

1/2 teaspoon dry celery seed

1 can of rinsed and drained black beans 

1 can of rinsed and drained northern white beans

1 can Italian diced tomatoes with juice 

2 medium  sliced green bell peppers 

1 cup prepared marinara sauce 

Simmer on low heat for 45 minutes
