Marc’s Chili

"This is a recipe my friend Marc Smith made to sell in his convenience store in the 1980’s . It was a favorite to all who enjoyed it. Marc sadly passed away in 2009 . The chili is really special and won first prize in a chili contest. The judges said no one even came close to the taste in this one."

Ground beef 2 lbs, 2 lbs, 2 cups, 2 cloves, 4 Tablespoons, 1-1/2 teaspoons, 1-1/2 teaspoons, 1 teaspoon, 1teaspoon, 1-2 teaspoons, 1 28 oz can, 1 16 oz can, 2 one pound cans, 2 one pound cans
Italian hot sausage
Chopped onion
Crushed garlic
Chili powder
Ground cumin
Cayenne pepper
Crushed tomatoes
Crushed tomatoes
Kidney beans
Cannelini beans


Brown meat in skillet, discard fat. Combine all ingredients in crockpot, stirring well. Cook on low 8-10 hours or 4-5 hours on high.
