Karen’s Homemade Chili
"This is my variation of the Bush's Mixed Chili Beans Chili"

Ground Beef or Turkey | 1 lb, 2-16 oz cans, 1-14 oz can, 1/2 cup, 1/2 cup, 1/4 cup, 2 tbsp, 1 tbsp, 1/2 cup |
Bush's Chili Beans | |
Stewed Tomatoes | |
Chopped Onion | |
Chopped Celery | |
Ketchup | |
Ground Chili Powder | |
Sugar | |
Water |
Directions
1 lb ground beef or turkey (pan fried & drained)
2-16oz cans of Bush’s chili beans (undrained)
1-14oz can of stewed tomatoes (undrained) chopped
1/2 cup of chopped onions (sauteed)
1/2 cup of chopped celery (sauteed)
1/4 cup of ketchup
2 tbsp ground chili powder
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup water
Directions
1. Pan fry the meat until well cooked and then drain.
2. Chop up 1 small onion and 1-2 stalks of celery and saute in butter over medium heat until tender.
3. In a large pot, combine all ingredients and simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
