Hominy Chili
"My family loves hominy and I try to find as many dishes that I can add hominy to that improves the dish. Chili is one dish that goes wonderfully with hominy. The chewy hominy gives chili nice texture."
Ingredients

| 16oz can hominy | 8oz can diced tomatoes, 1 tbl garlic powder, 1 cup water |
| 1 cup diced onion | |
| 1 tsp salt |
Directions
Saute onion and 1 pound ground beef. Add salt, garlic powder, water, drained hominy and tomatoes with juice. Simmer for 30 minutes
