Grandma’s Chili

"This is a family recipe and one that my mother used to stretch a penny raising 5 children on a moderate salary. Our children and grandchildren now enjoy the recipe. My 93 year old father continues to make it. It is the only food item he makes while living in his home. It is made in a crockpot, that he can monitor and if he forgets about it there is no harm done because eventually the smell lead him into the kitchen. He then enjoys throughout the week."

Ground Beef 2lbs, 1 64 ounce bottle, 1, 1, 1 Tablespoon, 4 ounces
Tomata Juice
Green Pepper
Large Yellow Onion
Chili Powder


Brown ground beef in skillet. 

In Crockpot add, ground beef, tomato juice, green pepper and yellow onion chopped in a food processor and chili pepper.  Heat on high for 1 hour and turn down to Low for 3 hours.  Add spaghetti noodles that have been broken apart into small 2 inch pieces.  Cook until noodles are done.  Serve with saltines. Serve with toppings of your choice. Serve with a bottle of Merlot.  Enjoy!
