Ingredients

extra-virgin olive oil 1 tbsp. e, 1/2, 3 cloves, 2 tbsp, 1.5 lbs, 1 tbsp, to taste, approx 1 tsp each, few drops to liking, 2 cans, 2 cans, As you like
large white onion, chopped
cloves garlic, finely chopped
tomato paste
ground beef
chili powder
salt & pepper
oregano, ground cumin, paprika
Worcester Sauce
crushed tomatoes
kidney beans, drained - could be substituted with any type of beans
Toppings such as cheese, sour cream, etc

Directions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and cook, stirring until softened. Add garlic and cook another minute or so. Add tomato past and stir. Add in ground beef – cook and break up the meat with a spoon until no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Season meat with salt and pepper. Add oregano, paprika, chili powder and stir. Add in tomatoes and beans and a few drops of Worcestershire sauce. Bring everything to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until flavors are combined and liquid is reduced, approximately 20 – 30 is all it really takes but you could cook longer if you would like. 

Ladle heaping spoonfuls of this delicious chili into bowls. Top with cheese, sour cream, scallions, hot sauce, avocado, crackers, tortilla strips – anything that makes your chili complete. Enjoy!
