Dad’s Famous Chili
"This chili recipe was given to me by my father. He makes this chili for every sporting event and holiday, and the whole neighborhood comes to have some. This is a true chili, and not a Chili-Mac... so keep noodles far away from it."

Large Yellow Onion | |
Fresh Jalepenos | |
Habanero Peppers | |

1 can of diced tomatos | |
Tomato paste | |
Garlic powder or Minced garlic | |

Black or Kidney Beans | |

Directions
- Brown the Beef and Sausage together in a large stock pot. Drain and do not rinse the pot.
- Dice up the onion, peppers, habaneros and add to the stock pot. If not a lot of Beef and Sausage juice remain, add some vegetable oil and simmer on medium for 2 minutes stirring regularly.
- Sprinkle in the flour and mix with vegetables.
- Add the meat and all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium/low and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
