Black bean chipotle chile
"I love black beans and I love the smoky taste of chipotle peppers, so I combined them to make a killer chili."

Top round steak, diced | 1 lb, 1 lb, 1 6 oz cans, 1, 2, 6 cloves, 1 Tbs, 1 can, 4 Tbs, 1 tsp |
Black beans, soaked overnight | |

dried chipotle peppers | |

vegetable oil | |
crushed tomatoes | |

cayenne pepper |
Directions
Soak black beans overnight, and drain. Add to crockpot.
Soak chipotle peppers in just enough water to cover.
Freeze steak for 30 miniutes to make it easier to slice. Dice it into 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch cubes.
Slice onions and garlic. Slice the garlic coarsely.
Heat 1 Tbs oil in saute pan. Sear steak cubes and add them to the crockpot.
Saute garlic and onions. Add to crockpot.
Drain chipotle peppers, and pout reserverd soaking water into crockpot. Slice chipotle peppers into very thin strips. Add to crockpot. Add chilli powder and cayenny.
Add tomato paste and crushed tomatoes to crockpot. Stir to combine the ingredients.
Turn on crockpot to high and cook for four hours.
