Best Turkey Chili

"I was looking for a sort of healthier alternative to other chili's but still had a great taste. I looked for other recipes but just decide to make my own. Some unique items to the chili is the 3 lbs of ground turkey, cans of Rotel and Kraft Deli Deluxe American cheese."

Olive Oil 1 Tbsp, 3 lbs, 2 cups, 2 Tbsp, 1 cup, 1 cup, 1 Tbsp, 3 Tbsp, 2 tsp, 2 tsp, 3 - 10 oz Cans, 1 cup, 2 - 15 oz Cans, Whole 12 oz package, 1 Tbsp
Ground Turkey 85/15
Chopped White Onion
Minced Garlic
Chopped Red Bell Pepper
Chopped Celery
Dried Oregano
Chili Powder
Ground Cumin
Kosher Salt
Chicken Broth
Red Kidney Beans
Kraft Deli Deluxe Cheese
Chopped Red Onions


Heat olive oil over high heat in a large heavy pot.  Add onions, garlic. red bell peppers and celery.  Saute for 5 minutes.  Add ground turkey then chop it up to small pieces until lightly browned about 8 -10 minutes.  Add oregano, chili powder and cumin then stir occasionally for 5 minutes.  Add drained cans of Rotel, chicken broth and salt. Stir then bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer and stir occasionally for 15 minutes.   Add cans of Red Kidney Beans without draining.  Stir then stir occasionally for 10 minutes.  Stir in Kraft Deli Deluxe cheese until melted then serve in bowl with chopped Red onions on top.
